LPN School

I spent 18 months in a Part time LPN program. It was hard and frustrating. I think the teachers were amazing. The content was hard. The organization higher up is the only thing I believe was lacking. It was very frustrating trying to get information in a timely manor. The only thing that was ever consistent is everything was subject to change on a moments notice.

Regardless, I feel that I was fully prepared for the NCLEX exam. The school used ATI exams during the year. I believe they were a huge help in my success on the NCLEX.

Advice - do questions when studying. A lot of questions. Learn to pick apart questions you don't immediately know. Read rationale. Practice different formats. Select all that apply, drag and drop, diagrams etc (all available through ATI).

For the PN NCLEX exam I used : ATI, Saunders comprehensive review book and disk, exam cram disk, nclex mastery

Good luck to anyone studying for the test. Keep calm. I honestly think my nerves about the exam were worse then the exam itself.

As a great teacher used to say.... You know this, you are prepared.
